At the concert held on 16. 11. 2016 at the Music Academy in Prague was beside commemorating Vaclav Havel and 17 November at the handover also important sbormistrovského awards Prizes Ferdinand Vach. This award is for outstanding achievements in the field of choir work, which bears the name of the founder of modern Czech choral art, imparts since 1992 Czech Choral Union and the Czech Music Fund. This year he received the award from the hands of Festa Academica Honorary President, Professor Paul Klener, and chairman of the Union of Czech Choirs Roman Michalek was choirmaster of the Choir of Masaryk University, Michal Vajda.
